Our Census Collection
The Census of India reports has been the richest source of language data collected and constantly used by language scholar.
Among the good collection of basic reference materials, the CILS has complete set of census
reports, Imperial Gazetteers from the beginning up to date in microfiche form. From 1961 to 2001 the census reports are available in print form along with CD’s and DVD’s.
